Utilizing cashmere, linen, silk, wool and nylon fabrics, graphic design is eliminated with this objective approach to constructing a tailored cycling jersey from cutting table stripe scraps and leftover fabric rolls. The pattern block is fragmented based on scrap size. Each garment is a unique made-to-measure assemblage by BRANDT-SORENSON. No two jerseys will be the same!

Cutting table scraps are the largest source of waste in the apparel industry. MIT estimates that enough scrap trim from pattern cutting is generated yearly to cover the country of Estonia. In contrast to offcut pieces, remnant fabrics are small rolls leftover from fashion corporation bulk production. Both are used in this jersey.
