The Anorak Puff is made to the collector's measurements with the most advanced ultralight textiles and two synthetic insulations developed for US Special Forces.
The semi-transparent Olive core is insulated with Climashield Apex®- pull the hood on and zip up for exceptional warmth. It has a durable water repellent finish with bonded baffling. The Obsidian arm and waist panels are made with Polartec Alpha® insulation and a micro-grid ripstop. Two side zippers and an adjustable waist cord allow for a wide range of temperature adaptions, depending on activity level. US Special Forces require durable insulations that stay warm when inactive, and breath during high-intensity efforts, in rapidly changing weather conditions. Low garment weight is critical when operating in thin air, at high altitude.
The Anorak Puff has a light, airy fit, yet offers excellent insulation when zipped and cinched snug. Unlike down animal feathers, these synthetic insulations continue to function if soaked with perspiration or rain and offer greater breathability with similar weight and compression. The jacket features four pockets, including an inner chest phone pocket, front phone pocket, front zippered storage and a center insulated pocket. Built with lightest, most durable, most breathable materials available.
"This innovative insulation is the lightest weight and most thermally efficient continuous filament insulation on the market today." -Climashield Apex® USA
